How can I plug some holes in my sump pump crock. I put too many in, and all I am doing is pumping out ground water. Pump runs ever 10 minutes. I tried putting bricks in the bottom to raise the pump, but this did not do the job. The pump is a 3/4hp, so I don't think it will burn up, but I just can't see pumping all that water out that was there to begin with.
