TOTO Doesn't Fill After Flushing

Hi All,

I installed a TOTO toilet 1 year ago and it has been great until recently it doesn't fill after flushing. Often I have to life the lid and pust the "blue thing" until it reacts and starts filling again. Is this a cheap fix or do I have to replace the entire fill valve assemble? More info:

Anyone have this problem before who can help?

It has dirt in the needle valve assembly; take the assembly apart, remove it from the tank completely and blow water through it to remove all dirt/debri.

Do a jet flush on the supply line leading to the toilet into a bucket to make sure the dirt doesn't backflow into the supply feed, otherwise you'll do it twice with removing the dirt.
