can a door swing outwards?

There are thousands of small powder rooms, my garage PR being one of them, with outswinging doors.

Yep, I know I could have a locking pocket door, but part of the issue is the placement of the door right even w/the toilet, so the door is moving regardless. It will be harder to get the pocket framing out of the wall and move it than it will to just frame for a new door, so the "pocket" will actually be remaining in the wall. Sacrificial lamb...
