I think that this line you are talking about is

sold exclusively by certain high priced plumbing franchises

that are popping up thgoughout the country...

of course getting parts for reapirs you are at the mercy of that

same high priced company.... if parts are available at all....

and you see this in a hardware store somewhere

it is most certanly junk...that you should stay away from
