Just finished to replace a large fiberglass shower.
I need some guidelines how to feel the gap between the fiberglass and
the gyproc : 3" at the top, 1" 1/4 on the side and 1/2" thick.
I was thinking nailing plywood and add caulcking ; it will be easier
and cleaner than a strip of gyproc, and cover with molding.
Thank you for your help.

I'm having a hard time picturing this. Can you post a photo or two?

Plywood or sheetrock - you're still gonna have to mud the seam between that filler and the rest of the wall, no?
