I was listening to a "plumber" at the local Home Depot talking about PEX (I was in the copper isle)... and he started talking about how it is OK if you get little sratches in Wirsbo's Aqua Pex when you're pulling it through, say a joist or stud. I was like  -- I thought you want to make very sure to NOT do this. At one point he mentioned that the color (red or blue) is only on the outside and that when you scratch it the color comes off... and this isn't a major deal as it is "scratchable"...

(He did mention that removing kinks is easy... which I do agree with...)

How do the pros here feel about scratching of PEX... big deal or not a bid deal?

Hmmm... I would think it is a big deal... I guess I'm wrong?
