We have a house built in 1860 that had steam heat in it. When we lost the boiler we switched over to hot water. One of the upstair radiators was leaking so the plumber replaced it with base board. The rest of the house still has the old radiators. We would like to find a radiator to replace the base board but do not know where to find an old one that will not leak. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Find One Locally

There are internet websites that sell them but the shipping costs would be outragous and not worth ordering this way. Why not visit a few scrap metal yards or junk yards in your area? Have the seller pressure test the radiator in front of you before you move it one inch.
Plumbing supply houses also sell free standing radiators in 2,4 & 6 tube designs, they won't be as decorative as your existing rads but will produce excellent heat!
