Where and can I find a hooty rim for an older sink other than stainless steel?

I would like to salvage my 1968 'gold' sinks but I want a different hooty rim...such as brushed bronze. Does it exist?

The drain kits usually come with the faucet. You might be able to order them as replacement parts. Try to find a new one in the style you want. It will likely be expensive and you'll probably have to wait, since they don't typically go bad, so they won't have spares sitting aroung.

Could be...not really knowing what he means by a hooty rim...

No idea where you'd find one.
