Steady stream of water from my Bath Faucet

I have a Delta Classic Pressure Balanced Valve similar to model: T13022
There us a steady stream of water coming out from the tub spout. I removed the tub spout and can't find any shut off valve. I assume it's in the handle area. When i plug the tub spout up it comes out the shower head. Any ideas? I will post pictures if I have to.

A spout is a spout....it is not a source of water. Your control valve is leaking.

To fix your leak, you need to shut off the water to your shower/tub, remove the faucet handle, backer plate, and stem, and replace the seats and springs.

If you think you can stop a leak by removing the spout, you need to call a plumber before you damage something and have to replace the valve.
