My wife and I are doing a complete bathroom remodel. We plan to install a
5'x36" drop in whirl pool. Is it possible to install a shower with this whirlpool. We plan to do a complete tile surround.

The better choice would be to purchase a whirlpool that is designed to be in a tiled alcove...often they look essentially identical, but it has a built-in tiling flange.

If that is not an option (although most are available that way), then see if the manufacturer has an add-on tile flange kit. If not, then you might not want to use this tub.

Check out www.johnbridge.com for tiling questions.
