Default What do I do with my old tub?

Is it junk or is worth something? Junkyard or recycle. I now lives on my balcony and I need to find it a new home.

Talking no matter what it is ITS JUNK

just throw it over the balcony

    and forget about it,

set it out by the curb on heavy trash

day and maybe some scrap man might take it

to the junk yard for you.....

    its really not worth

    the trouble to fool with.....

Unless it is something like a clawfoot cast iron tub, it probably isn't worth much more than scrap (if it is cast iron). If it is steel, fiberglass, or acrylic, chuck it.

If it's in good shape, donate it to Habitat for Humanity. If it's not, fill it with dirt and plant some flowers!

Cast iron is bringing $180.00/ton so if it is 200# and you have a scrap yard near by you can get $18.00 for it and that will get you 6 gallons of gas.

Default Thanks for the tub options

Creative and environmentally conscious. I think I will go for the $18. It's to beatup to donate and potting flowers isn't my thing.

    Thanks.

With scrap prices what they are, you could just leave it by the curb and let some enterprising guy with a pickup truck make the $18.
