You could always pay someone to stand there with a 5 gallon bucket and run it out side when it starts to fill up.

If by electrical, you mean 'plug in', then yes, there are battery operated sump pumps.

A typical set up might have a plug in sump pump that has a battery backup. This'll cover you in the event of a power outage.

I'm sure there are gas-powered pumps, but you don't want to operate these indoors.

You can even get a manual hand pump as a backup if you're REALLY paranoid.
