How is the flush valve replaced with the plastic liner in place?
When the cartridge is spun out, how do you thread the new one in place with the liner there?

    Texas

the fill membrane is accessed by unscrewing the big white round nut that is attached to the fill arm.... the nut is about 1 1/4 inch.. you can see it in the diagram. it has no reference number and it just above and to the right of the "9" in the diagram.

My question is how to replace the gasket which is number "7" in the diagram. it is in there tight and has started to corrode. i have found that using Tidy Bowl tablets in this toilet causes leaks in the seals... and those Clorox Bleach tablets are really bad as they break down the rubber parts.

This is also the original subject of this thread and it was never answered.

Sorry but what is the purpose of this forum if no one is going to help? I doubt any real plumbers would chime in. They probably don't know themselves how to do it.
