I'd rather have a platinum toilet, to go with my platinum sink and platinum flaked toilet paper.

Shoot. Wish I'd have seen this before I bought my King Louis XIV toilet throne. Painted it black enamel per another thread in this forum so that I can see every little calcium deposit bright n' clear.

I always thought a clever thing would be to do a bathroom in total Trompe l'Oeil style: Paint the toilet lid to look like it's open when it's really not... Paint a little peeping Tom staring in on you through a fake window... A fake leak on the floor... The possibilities are endless. Guaranteed to get puckering chuckle out of every visitor.

At $17,000 that toilet better install itself.
