Too much is always a good thing sometimes. I find it impressive of how many people are viewing these different forums on this site at all hours of the day.

The web site is back
I was asked to get my own server and get off the shared server I had been on.
Too much traffic is what they said.
I hope this setup works for a while.
At least I'm not sharing it.
The forum software was upgraded at the same time, so maybe some of the glitches you were reporting will be fixed now?

Read what the end of this sentence means.
I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the new server doesn't appear to be up to the task. Fortunately, you live in the heart of geekdom, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a good performance analyst who can tell you where you need to spend more money.
It's taking over 10 seconds to paint the "Reply to Thread" screen here, and intra-site navigation in general is slow and inconsistent. Could be any of processor, RAM, storage subsystem, or network bandwidth, but a few minutes spent with the right tools will tell you where the (current) bottleneck is.
