Hello there,

A plumber came and replaced the original 1964 sayco two handles and shower diverter of my tub/shower with lowe's danco $45.00 replacement kit.

The original shower head is still there.

Prior to the replacement the water pressure coming out of the shower was terrific!

Now it is lackluster. The water pressure coming out of the tub spout seems to be fairly robust, but for some reason the shower is most noticeably lacking in oomph.

I asked the plumber if there was anything in the replacement parts that would affect the shower performance, and he couldn't think of anything right off.

I don't kinow anything about this stuff. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you haven't yet, take the shower head off and clean it out. Your plumber should have known to take it off and flush the new faucet through the shower riser or at least check it for you before he left.
