Thread: Waste and overflow

    Default Waste and overflow

What is the best type of waste and overflow for new construction?

Also, what about brass pipe vs. ABS?

I opt for brass any day.

    Default w&o

PVC/ABS is a lot easier to adjust for slight, or major, offsets to the drain.

The parts you can touch in the tub last longer and look better if they are plated brass...the parts outside of the tub can be something other than brass to save some $$.

Thanks, any difference with the style - toe touch, lift and turn, trip lever or cable?

    Default drain

Lift and turn is definitely the least troublesome in the long run.
