We are installing a corner tub with deck mounted faucet and hand held shower attachment with built in diverter and vacuum breaker (Danze). I have seen photos of such an arrangement with the shower attachment on the opposite side of the tub from the faucets. We want something similar. We want the hand held mounted about a foot and a half away around the curve of the tub. Can it be done? Is it a good idea? Is all that is needed an extra long hose?

Thanks for any advice.

Most of them come with a 4-6' hose. Should be fine, but check what it comes with and see if they have an optional longer one if it meets your needs better.
