I am in the process of remodeling my main bathroom, which is on the second floor.I have an alternative toilet and wash sink on the first floor.I cannot however remove the shower,we need a place to either bath or shower. Is it possible to put a temporary shower in the basement, the drain line goes thru the wall and is appr 2-3 feet off the floor.any suggestions?

Get a hula hoop, put a shower curtain on it, suspend it over the floor drain in your laundry room, splice a spray head to your laundry tub faucet. You got a shower. (Or else find some way to pump water up to the drain line.)
