Just want to confirm the proper way to install this fitting?
1. Cut PVC pipe to correct height so that flange of fitting is 1/4" under floor of shower.
2. Cement Flange fitting to 2" PVC pipe.
3. Locate shower stall
4. Place cardboard and rubber washer on flange of fitting, (under the floor of the shower).
5. Apply plumber's putty to male threaded flange (the portion that the strainer is attached to), and tighten into female portion of fitting through shower drain hole.
