My daughter dropped an earring down the drain. We recovered it ok, but one thing led to another and now the room is gutted ready for a complete remodel. I've replaced all the 50+ year old cast iron waste pipe with ABS. My question is what is the preferred (I'm only going to do this once) material for a closet flange? Home Depot carries an all ABS flange, an ABS flange with a (painted) metal mounting flange, an ABS flange with a stainless steel mounting flange, and a brass flange with a rubber(?) gasket coupling.
Preferred Toilet Flange?
