Hello... I have recently encountered a problem with my shower. When I pull out the diverter button to change from bathtub to shower mode, I noticed a considerable amount of water coming out behind the faucet. This does not appear to be the case when it is simply on "tub mode". Could it just be a faulty spout/diverter? I unfortunately have no way of getting in behind the wall due to tile and both of my showers backing up to each other.

Nothing is impossible.

Something just take more time and money thrown at them.

If the diverter is on the tub spout, I would replace it sooner than later.

leak

Unscrew the diverter spout. Look inside it to see the hole that is eaten through the metal. Throw the spout away after taking it to a store to buy an exact replacement. Install the new spout.
