I bought the Toto Ultramax in Cotten b.c i wanted a good toilet.

Now I have to get the tub, cast iron, 5 ft. Kohler 16.5 inch high, 32 wide

Should i get the Kohler as it is the name brand that is popular around here...?

or should I get the Toto, not well known around by me, but same brand as the toilet?

price is very close, Toto Cotten =Kohler White basically.

So should i get the matching brand, screw the name?
or should i go with the more known name and figure they'll match?

Opinions?

I doubt if you will have a color Matching problem with white. You didn't mention if the toto was cast iron or not. If so I would go with a choice based on style and preference.

White is the most difficult color if the customer has a discerning eye. Ever try to match a kitchen faucet..sink..basket strainer...air gap cover!!!

In white, Kohler white is different than most others. DALtile even makes a basic 4x4 tile in a color called white K101, which is different that basic white 100.
