Removing corroding cast iron pipe below the slab in basement. Removed a section of the cast iron pipe which had a 90 degree fitting (from below grade to above grade) thats maked Char xh. Question is the pipe xh or just the fittings. Trying to find out so I can purchase the correct couple from ci to pvc. Is there id or od measure that could help me, also reading something about lead band with differences between xh and sv pipe. Really learning as i go here. Any insight would be passed on would be great.
