Toto Aquia Mounting Flange

I am a homeowner mounting a CST416M Toto toilet. My builder mounted a new toilet flange on the subfloor. Then installed the wax ring and the adaptor plate. The adaptor flange is flush with the new tile floor. Is it going to be tall enough to seal to the waste connection? Would I be able to remove the adaptor and install a 2nd wax ring to increase the height. Thanks Dan

This will work, but you likely will want to use a thick wax ring. Flanges are really supposed to rest on top of the finished floor, tile in your case, but the thicker ring should insure a good seal.
