Have a well with hard water, which leaves iron and other deposits that block toilet jets and leave the bowl looking stained/dirty. Yes, the water is (string) filtered. Can anyone recommend a good dual flush toilet that can accommodate iron and other mineral scale, either due to size of ports, surface material or both?
For what it's worth: Of the two toilets in the house, a 20+ year old UPC brand toilet has always worked well, but is badly stained. A 12 year old Kohler is both stained and has had problems with blocked ports/poor flush since within a year or two of installation. Local plumbers have not offered any solutions. Due to the sensitive ecology of our location, heavy duty water treatments and the 'nastier' scale removers are not really options.
Many thanks.
