I pulled my toilet and it was secured with pvc flange bolts. The flange sits on the finished floor. The pvc bolts are in great condition. However, when I re-seat the toilet, should I switch those bolts out to brass?

Thanks

I have never seen PVC flange bolts, but the plastic ones I have seen tended to "stretch" and loosen after a while, just like toilet seat bolts made of plastic.

No you don't need to replace it.. PVC flange bolts are light weight compared to metal backing rings. They are easier in installation and there is no requirement of pre-drilling of hole

Huh? What holes are you talking about pre-drilling and what does the weight of the bolts have to do with anything?

I do not use "metal backing rings" whatever those are, and I also NEVER have to "predrill a hole", and do not know any reason you would have to do that.
