I'm trying to remove the diverter off the valve body to just put a lil plumbers grease in there.....the diverter tends to stay stuck in when depressed.

I have the typical plumbers socket set and this thing won't budge.

Now, if I had a socket that would fit onto my Cordless Impact Wrench that puts out about 900lbs-1Klbs of torque, I would do it.

Any creative suggestions on getting this thing to start to spin. This regular plumbers socket set of mine if not going to take a cheater bar

I gave up coming back for Round 2......kids needed to shower. Put the trim plate back on, yadda, yadda.

Going to have to dig through my deep socket set and I'm taking the impact wrench to it. Confirmed the valve body is nice and secure - so I should be OKAY with this method...

I assume it is either a Delta or Moen diverter. If so, a 3/4" deep socket and breaker bar will remove it. Then 'replace" it, don't try to service it.
