Hi, have anybody used or seen this nut that goes on a faucet?
Do you think it actually works?

WHY would any one want to buy one and use it? The nuts that come with the faucet work PERFECTLY well. It appears to be a solution to a problem no one has.

    It must be German engineering.
I was working on a Grohe faucet yesterday. Wow!
Always so many parts, for something that could have been so simple. I prefer the simple plastic nuts that come with the faucet.
They never rust or seize, they're quick to install, and I don't have a clip to lose.

Looks like you could back off the "Smart Nuts" right over the supply connections and pull the faucet up...to...clean the soap scum that builds up underneath. Yeah, that must be it :-)

In the typical tight spaces under a lav the Smart Nut is way dumber than the original plastic nut + a Ridgid plastic basin "wrench".

I spin on plastic nuts like those by hand. I've never use pliers on those.
