    Default jet pump troubleshooting

    I installed a two line jet pump for a water holding tank...when I turn it on the pump kicks on for two sec then kicks off..it does that about every min...it want build pressure and keep pressure on the water line... what could be the problem?

    Without more info, it sounds like its pumping against a closed valve.

    You should verify the correct Motor Voltage.

    Could his pump need priming?

    Are you pumping into or out of the holding tank? Is the holding tank a pressure tank or non-pressurized?

    With the limited information I'd say your holding tank is full of water. You need a bladder type tank or a Pside-kick.
