One more easy one to put in your back pocket: -40C = -40F

    Too cold for me, though.

Thanks, I think your suggestion of extruded plates seems like the ticket.

As an almost lifelong resident of Victoria, I can assure you its changed little in the past 30 years with the exception of a bunch more homes, a far better selection of Asian and Indian restaurants and a whole bunch more older, slower drivers! Despite our great climate, Victoria proper is still only 100 k and the entire region is only 350k. I had to chuckle when you mentioned the Salish Sea, because if I lean back in my chair I can see San Juan Island and Mt. Baker across Haro Strait. Its a view I've seen off and on since 1974 when I moved here as a child. Sadly, I'm too stubborn accept that most people now refer to it by its new name. My daughter, however, can (and does) tell me all about it!

The fives are always easy, if you know how to add or subtract nine. (Since 5C = 9F)
