Background: Wall behind sink was removed because of damage from leak at angle stop.
Now that main drain pipe is exposed should the outlet at the main drain be lowered to provide slope in the drainpipe or is the garbage disposal and elevation to the sink going to provide enough water flow. The top of the tail pipe at the sink is between 5" and 6" above, and garbage disposal outlet 3/4" above the main drain pipe connection. Have lived here several years and have only had the drain clog a few times.
Thanks, Daven

Who did this job?
Replace the J bend, it's installed in reverse.
Use the correct garbage disposal discharge.
Give the horizontal arms the correct slope.

Thanks dj2. Had new counter top and deeper sink installed about 8 years ago so don't remember but I'm disappointed the plumber who installed the new angle stops didn't say something then. Daven

That's very common with deeper sinks.

Cut the santee in lower, about 3" lower.
The p-trap have been reversed. Lowering the outlet on the plumbing in the wall will allow the p-trap to be installed correctly.

1. The way it lines up he CANNOT reverse the "P" trap.
2. That is a "proper" disposer, (NOT a "Disposal"), discharge.
3. The photos imply there is proper slope on the horizontal lines
4. Lower the tee at least 3".
5. That earlier plumber did not want to open a can of worms by suggesting lowering the drain.

You could use the tee for the cleanout as the waste line and use the existing waste line as the cleanout.
