I am looking at installing a GAC Filter (CS-HAC) in a 12x52 (2.0 cuft) tank. What size DLFC would I need for my Clack valve?

Would 9 gpm be a correct size for 2.0 cuft?

Pi r squared /144 x 10 = GAC backwash rate at 60 degrees. 10 is the gpm per square foot of bed area. GAC should be backwashed between 10-12 GPM per Sq. Ft.
6x6x3.14/144x10 = 7.85 GPM. 8-10 GPM depending on water temperature.
