Grohe sells the 13.611 slip tub spout.

The other day I installed one of these and ran into a problem drip when I was diverting to the shower head.

The plastic insert was leaking at the threads near the end of the spout.

I wound up taking it apart and using Tape on the threads and reassembling.

Hello,
Once you sealed the threads did it stop dripping from the faucet entirely?
That's what I want my faucet to do. No dripping at all when shower is on. I've been looking for a spout that has diverter with a super tight seal. No luck so far.
Thanks,
Noel

It's really hard to find a spout that stops really well. The Delta spouts do pretty good though.
