Boiler outdoor sensor placement

Folks,

Do you think it would matter if an outside boiler sensor for a condensing boiler was placed inside a shed? The shed is not heated or insulated and is attached to the house. There could be a little heat from the house to the shed, but not a lot. In the winter the shed is as cold as the outside air...

Ideally, it can sense actual outside air temperature without being influenced by direct sun (i.e., it should be in the shade). Hard to tell how much influence being inside of the shed would create.
