Wow I haven't been on this forum in years and it seems like yesterday I had this very same debate with Gary. Funny how some things never change.
Rockman for a DIY'er you have done pretty good. Ditto's accurate on this post a 7000 should preform good for your needs. I sell mostly Clack products but that's a preference because you don't have internet dealers undercutting your prices and providing consumers with undersized, oversized, or outdated equipment lines. I would add how many product lines did Pentair launch that sunk like a boat full of holes due to direct to consumer sales by internet sales people selling the DIY guy equipment better suited for commercial application? The Merlin comes to mind. I've also seen a lot of the 9000's oversized that people purchased through less than reputable online dealers. I even had a home owner that had a two bath home with a hot tub and a pretty prominent online dealer sold him a 120k 2900 Fleck. He was less than happy when he found how much more he spent on an oversized system he really didn't need.
Well folks, for more insight into Jeremy's reason to be here, and how wild his ideas can get....

FYI, Jeremy comes with exceptional knowledge and credentials. He has been an active proponent of the water treatment industry for many years and brings actual knowledge based on years of experience.
Those that troll around and hate people who have insurance, certifications, licenses, education, and field experience seem to get very jealous of anyone who is on this forum offering good advice. It is sad to see a simple question get turned into a multi page trolling mostrosity, I thought this had ended a month ago. I guess someone just cant help themselves.
And Tom, it wasnt "online dealers" that made Clack enforce their rules, it was a "BAD" online dealer, and I think we all know who I am referring to.
This is awkward, but...
