    Question protection plates fdor pvc pipes in walls

    Is there a canadain code rule regarding protection of pvc or similar pipes in walls by protection plates if the pipes are to close to the surface?The plumber who did my house says there isn't.If there is, could you please
    tell me the rule number or numbers.

    Don't know about code, but common sense would tell me to use them, code on not.
