    Default 5800 SXT start up

    Hi Pro`s
    I just installed a water softener, i do not know how set this up at first time when i started it it spits lots of water thru drain pipe.
    Not sure weather it is normal so i stopped it.
    Can anybody suggest me from the start up procedure for new water softener please.

    What is the tank size? i can post a programming guide on Monday.

    it is 64000 capacity grain tank

    Congrats on the new system!

    And, what color is the injector, and the BLFC size? The BLFC should be indicated by the sticker on the injector assembly. Also confirm the DLFC button size, and what is your water temperature?

    Here is a quick master programming guide.
    1: set time to 12:01 P.M.
    2: push “regen” button
    3: push and hold ^ v buttons to enter master program mode
    Push “regen” button between each step to get to next step
    4: DF Gal, factory set, leave as-is
    5: VT 5800
    6: RT dF1b, set to dF2b
    7: CT Fd, factory set, leave as-is
    8: C set to 48
    9: H 20, set to the actual water hardness
    10: RS Set to SF
    11: SF Set to 15
    12: DO 14 factory set, leave as-is
    13: RT 2:00 factory set, leave as-is
    14: BW Set to 5
    15: BD 60 factory set, leave as-is
    16: B2 set to 5
    16: RR Set to 5
    17: BF set to 43 for .125 BLFC, 22 for .25 BLFC


    18: FM t0.7 factory set, leave as-is
