Hello,
I have a Toto Ultramax II (MS604114CEFG) which appears to have problem with the fill valve about 50% of the time. After you flush the toilet and the tank is full, the water stops filling the tank but the valve continues to make a faint sound as if it is not completely closed. I cannot find any obvious leaks and adjustments do not help. Water does not appear to be rising above the overflow tube. (I read about other problems with Toto fill valves in this forum)
What does work to stop the noise is if I push down on the float to allow about an extra 1/4 inch of water in the tank. This always stops the sound. Do I need a new fill valve? If so, should I buy one from Toto an aftermarket valve?
Thank you,
Scott
