Oil burner tankless hot water

Current problem is that in order to get hot water heat setting on thermostat must be calling for heat, ie we must put it up above ambient room temp. Never had this issue before. Come warm weather we just turned down thermostat still got hot water, now if we do that no hot water, Help!

I am not familar with oil burners, but for those that are, it will be necessary for them to know he make, model, age,etc for your unit. The more info you provide, the better they can help you.

It's an old post but his problem lies with either his aquastat or his tempering valve
