We have a claw foot cast iron tub that has feet attached by bolt to the bottom. Each bolt has a wedge-shaped head that each sit in a pyramid-shaped channel. One of the pyramid channels is broken on one side. We have tried to repair with JB Weld epoxy but it is not holding. While concerned about damaging porcelain/enamel from heating it, it seems like rebuilding the channel is the only answer and I presume this would be done via welding.
So, looking for advice on how to repair this and particularly if you are in Seattle and can recommend someone, that'd be perfect.
Thanks.
