How to identify a faucet to repair?

I have a bathroom sink faucet that needs repair (leaking) but their is more marks to determine manufacture.

Actually, very few manufacturers put their names ON bathroom faucets. And, since designs can be somewhat generic among manufacturers, the only real way to identify it is to examine the hot or cold stem cartridge.
