I'm helping out a client in California turn and old room in his grandfather's home into a new curbless shower on suite. This old home has Adobe Walls and this substrate is not something I have seen before in any of my projects here in Vancouver.
What would the best approach be to waterproof these old walls? Should we even use them the begin with?
You can see a close up of the wall here. In this picture the paint has been removed and the Adobe Wall ground down a little.
