Repair the poly? What does that mean?
Is the drain ABS? You might need an ABS to PVC transitional solvent to connect that drain to that pipe.
I think they make it in either a one step or a two step process.
Did you repair the poly before you back filled?
Better Check with HJ or Terry about the transition solvent - not sure if the primer you have on the pipe will affect the bite of the product.
By Poly I mean the vapour proofing or plastic that was under the slab. It's there to keep moisture from coming up through the ground. It needs to be put back.

What are you doing for a pre-slope?
Get that shower floor cleaned up. Wired brushed and I'd give it a scratch coat with a nice sticky thin-set first.
Have you seen the Noble Pre-slope's for the liner type install. Installs in 5 minutes. No mortar.
