I have a 100 ft. deep 2 inch packer well with a 1 inch drop pipe. casing and drop pipe are
galvinized. the well was dug in 1962, has not been used for about 40 yrs. I attempted to
pull the drop pipe, will not budge or turn. pored 1 gallon of chlorex between drop pipe and 2 inch
casing, still stuck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

valveman:

thank you for your suggestion.
I attached a cross member at the top of the drop pipe and put a hydrylic jack under
each end. I'am afraid if I apply more pressure it may break?
is there anything I can pore down the 2 inch casing to loosen the leathers?

thanks
