We got our basement bathroom roughed in when we built our house, however after the plumbers had laid out the plumbing but before the concrete was laid we asked the builder to reconfigure the bathroom layout, which meant the plumbers had to move some of the drain lines. My concern is that the shower drain is now to far from the vent. The shower drain runs into the main bathroom drain line and wet vented out through the lavatory vent. The distance from the shower drain to the 3 inch drain that is shared with the toilet, and sink is about 6 feet and then another 6 feet from that intersection back to the vent stack. The shower drain is 2 inch. Does this meet code for the venting of the shower?

Thanks.

This is a good question can a plumber answer this?
