Hello. I've received much help on this forum and hoping to again.
We are moving our laundry area and plan to have front loaders under a countertop. I'm starting fresh with the plumbing. What are my restrictions or best practices for having the drain and hookups behind the unit and under the countertops. Certainly a pain from a service point of view but I don't see how I can have the hookups above the countertops without it looking hackish.
Also, this laundry is in a seperate area of the home. Is it possible to have the venting on an AAV and if so does it have to penetrate into the attic or can it be buried in the wall? I'm assuming it has to be in the attic.
Finally, is there a need for hammer arresters with pex?
Thanks much!
Justin
