Now what?

Recently removed the old toilet to replace with a new one. During the process something fell in the hole and now having overflow problems. Adjacent bathroom toilet/ shower cause water to bubble up out of the hole. Any suggestions?

What dropped?

Whatever it is you dropped is causing a backup and it has to be removed. It would help to know what it is that fell in. This probably is not a DIY job.

A plumber will have a retrival tip for his cable....basically an inverted spiral which has a chance to grab whatever it is.

Depending on what it is, it will either have to be pulled out, or pushed to the main line.

As both Jimbo and HJ point out, it can be done, but it's not a DIY job.
