After reading and reading and reading.
I decided to replace my old 38x38 neo-angular by a 36x60.

I have included a before and after image, so much help on the forum..

I used to have a boss that liked the saying "it looks good from far, far from good". It does look good as a finished product but I have concerns. The wet wall doesn't look stiff enough. Is that niche cut into an exterior wall with no insulation behind it?

The wet wall was added a few studs, Backerboard was used and the niche on the exterior wall
is insulated,,,just not showing on the picture..

I might suggest you install a few weep holes on the bottom side of your shower unit. I have found that there is a little build up of moisture inside the box and a few weep holes drilled in the right spot can help keep this from making things nasty back there.
