There are a few different types of torque arrestor, one looks like a rubber disc, the other kinda looks like a football when it is opened up. If I were you, I would use the football type.
LOL yeah get the damn thing fixed already!!!
I hope you turned off your water heater when the pump quit, or you will be on another forum learning how to replace it.

The well pump and well pump motor, looked good.
Do you know where I can find this electrical connector that plugs into the Gould Bruiser motor?

If that is a Franklin motor you will need a Franklin wire plug in. If it is a CentraPro, you will need to get one from Goulds. I am not sure they will interchange.
Thanks, found the lead plug-in, on their Manual, will call them tomorrow.
Lead plug-in has three wires going in, and has two metal leads on the other end.
All three wires were broken going in to the plug-in.
